Dance. An impossible and unattainable dream to the kid I once was... Today, dance is one of the most essential things that keeps me moving forward.

15 years ago, I started from the bottom like any other break-dancer, spending endless hours training and developing my own dance moves and routines. Step by step, I forged my style, taking up challenges and going from local hip-hop battles to the biggest international competitions (R16, Battle of the Year, Chelles Battle Pro, The Notorious IBE...). Over the years, I’ve had the good fortune to travel around the world and meet with some of the best and fiercest b-boys who were a true motivation for me to pursue my dream of becoming a professional dancer.

Then, I gave my career another twist by becoming a stage performer. Cirque du Soleil and The Michael Jackson Estate have given me this amazing opportunity to showcase my talent on stage honouring Michael Jackson's art and music by being part of both Cirque du Soleil shows: Michael Jackson the Immortal World Tour and Michael Jackson One (now playing in Las Vegas).

People and their ability to fight on are one of my greatest motivators; I also pull from urban culture and martial arts. I aim to push the limits of my body in order to always reinvent myself and create unique moves defining my signature dance style.

I hope that my videos and photos can somehow inspire people. I dedicate them to anyone looking for some motivation to accomplish their dreams.

"Never give up. Believe in your dreams." is more than a motto for me, it’s my way of life.

Thank you all for your support!

Jean Sok.
